This will be our fourth wine dinner, and if the previous evenings are anything to go by, you will be in for a real treat!
The evening begins at 7.30pm with a welcome drink and some nibbles to get the ball rolling. Then at around 8pm everyone will be seated for the first course. What follows will be a 5 course set menu with a different wine to match each course. This format gives our chefs the opportunity to really show what they can do, using the best in seasonal and local produce to create a superb menu. This also allows us to match some interesting wines to each course, hopefully introducing you to something new in terms of grape variety or style of wine.
The wines chosen are themed; for our Festive Wine Dinner we chose to show the flexibility and versatility of Pinot Noir and how well it paired with festive food. We had a representative from Cecchi wines in Tuscany to co-host our first dinner, where we showed 6 wines of the Estate, and we have a producer from Portugal hopefully joining us later in the year.
